The first day

We started the day off with a buffet breakfast in Hacienda Baru resort. We put on our hiking boots and next went through the rainforest where we saw much wildlife. The rainforest took us out onto the beach where we walked for approximately forty minutes to a river with crocodiles. Unfortunately we didn’t spot any crocodiles but lucky enough, we saw many yesterday. We hiked all the way back to Hacienda Baru and had lunch. This is when the thunderstorm started but shortly after lunch we decided to go to a waterfall in Dominican. The waterfall was beautiful and had a rope swing that we were able to swing off into the water. Finishing the day off, we went to a small shop for ice cream and had dinner back at Hacienda Baru.
